Sanjeevan is committed to not only providing direct care but also to spreading awareness and knowledge within the community. Through sensitisation and training programs, the project empowers community members to overcome helplessness when confronted with the complex needs of their loved ones or neighbours suffering. Structured training programs are offered to people interested in building their skills and knowledge in palliative care. To date, over 3000 individuals have been trained to offer essential care and support to bedridden, incurably ill, elderly, and dying patients in their local communities. This empowerment extends a helping hand to those in need and fosters a culture of empathy and solidarity.
